Examples of my work
I work with a wide range of charitable organisations, including NGOs, think tanks and funders, particularly focusing on refugee and migration issues. I love developing, running and resourcing innovative initiatives and partnerships, including through new funder partnerships and pooled funds. Recent projects include:
Ground-breaking research into the UK migration and refugee charity sector I have co-developed and produced for funder network Migration Exchange (see here, here and here) - which (among other impacts) has guided over £2m of emergency Covid funding.
My ongoing role as a consultant adviser to Unbound Philanthropy, supporting critical UK work on climate change and migration - read our mapping report here.
Several grant schemes, projects and networks I’ve helped to design, launch, and raise over £1m to support:
The South West Immigration Alliance, a unique network of charitable organisations supporting refugees and migrants across the SW of England
The Refugee Rent Deposit Initiative, an innovative national initiative run by BEAM in partnership with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, and funded by a new cross-sectoral funder partnership.
An emergency small grants scheme for LandAid, which funded dozens of grassroots projects supporting Ukrainian refugees
I’m an experienced evaluator and learning partner, and have helped funders & NGOs including Lloyds Bank Foundation, Justice Together Initiative, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, European Network on Statelessness, and Hackney Migrant Centre to evaluate the impact of their work.
